- Supplied As: These plants are supplied as “bare roots” meaning that the roots are established below the ground but not actively growing (dormant) between November and March. As bare roots are stored without any soil or pot, they will easily settle themselves when in contact with soil in your garden. Don't worry if your plant is not showing any sign of growth above the ground come April, as it's still in the dormant phase and will soon explode into life.
- Time to First Crop: Primocane (autumn-fruiting) varieties may fruit in the first year. Floricane (summer-fruiting) varieties will fruit in the second year.
